Ermitaña DA is by the Qualified/Calificado dressage superstar, Dominante XXIX and out of Zingara VII from Dorado Andaluz in California. Dominante XXIX was bred by Yeguada Mazzara, near Barcelona. He is Escalera bred having the noteworthy Lebrijano III (sire of the Spanish Olymplic stallion, Invasor and the grandsire of the 2012 Spanish Olympic Champion, Fuego de Cardenas. Dominante's show records include Best Movement titles as well as the prestigious "Campeon de la Raza" at the 2005 Celebration show. Now primarily a dressage competitor, Dominante has successfully competed through Prix St. Georges. Not enough can be said about Dominante...he is in a class of his own and his offspring have proven to be superior. Zingara VII, is a beautiful black PRE mare, imported from Spain with Escalera breeding. Her sire, Favorito XXX was a SICAB Champion. This combination was the careful and deliberate breeding of Suzanne Punch of Dorado Andaluz. Emintaña is a beautiful combination of both sire and dam.
Ermitaña is a very big 16.2 hh mare bay mare. Her beauty cannot be matched. She is just a stunning mare. She was bred to Festivo MR in 2014 and produced our very best foal to date, Diamanate EAS. We are retaining this colt for our future breeding/showing program.
